​​ASPCA ATHENS PAW WALK

For this event we will need atleast a grand total of 100 volunteers to help with various responsibilities. When signing up, please indicate what jobs you feel you are most suited for. Please note that you may be placed somewhere else if not specified.The deadline to volunteer is the 13th of May. The different areas we need assistance in are as follows: 

-Setting Up and Decorating for booths, race, and activities

-Clean up after event

-Help run race such as gather runners up and lead them to starting line, supervise around entire track, keep track of winners, stand at finish line, etc.

-Supervising Children Activities such as grooming station, blow up slide, and ice cream truck

-Supervising Adult Booths such as the food booths

-Supervising Multipurpose Stage: selling raffles, passing out race numbers and t-shirts to registered runners, selling t-shirts,selling activity tickets, award ceremony

-Parking Attendents

- Greeters 

-Assisting ASPCA with Adoption Booth

 

 Requirements:

- Volunteers are expected to be at least 12 years of age

- Must come to meeting that will be held on the 16th of May, a week before the event to answer questions, go over information and expectations, find out shift times, recieve a personlized volunteer itinerary and pass out t shirts to volunteers

-Must arrive and hour early

-Expected to be there around three hours to fufil your duties and shift

-Come wearing t-shirts that were passed out at meeting
