Volunteers:

What if I can’t make it?

If you can’t make it, send us an email or call one of the numbers on our Contact Us page! We have a Google doc where we keep track of volunteers, so we will be taking attendance the day of!

Can I have you sign off on an hours form for my school or other organization?

Of course! We love helping out volunteers that need to document their hours. Be sure to arrive on time in the morning so we can count you as present, and at the very end of the day, make your way back to the Tshirt tent and one of us will sign off on your paperwork.

Do volunteers get any free stuff?

Yes! Each of you gets a free Tshirt and a free lunch from one of our vendors.

How long will I need to stay before and after? (set up / take down)

The actual race and activities are from 8am-noon, so we require volunteers to show up an hour early and stay atleast three hours to fufill your duties and shift that is assigned to you

Can I bring a friend the day of to help volunteer?

Of course! We can’t guarantee a free Tshirt because of limited quantities, but we’d love all the extra help we can get!

What if it rains?

The race will be rescheduled for the following weekened!

What is someone or their pet gets hurt?

Rush them immediately to the emergency truck and get attention of vet tech, police, or EMT

How late can I sign up to be in the race?

Signups end one week before the race, so we can print runner tags for everyone in good time as well as order t-shirts.

How much of your proceeds go to the ASPCA?

After expenses, 100% of our proceeds go to ASPCA. We care about this organization that much!

Can I bring a friend the day of?

We’re sorry, but bringing a friend the day of won’t give them a spot in the race! We print tags ahead of time so latecomers aren’t allowed. However, your friend could participate in any number of our activities or eat food from our vendors!

Can I purchase extra Tshirts?

Yes! T-shirts will be on sale throughout the entire event at the multipurpose stage!

Do I need to bring any supplies for my pet for the day?

YES! Limited leashes will be supplied if forgotten, water will also be supplied. There will be designated stands all over the venue for water. We expect the leashes to be turned back in at the end of the day to the multipurpose stage, however, so please take good care of them!

What if it rains?

There will a paramedic and vet tech available by the track and booths at all times throughout the day.
