Adoptions

"Adopt Don't Shop!"

SADIE:

A 5-month-old puppy found on the side of the highway. Sadie appeared to be thrown out of someone’s car. She had broken both legs and 2 ribs while half of her ear had been torn off. Sadie has been in the shelter for 4 months now. Since her arrival, she has gained 10 pounds, rehabbed both of her legs, and is beginning to have the “puppy spirit” again!  You can adopt Sadie today. She has had all of her shots and vaccinations and is ready to live with a loving family.

CHLOE:

Chloe is two years old. She was found living in a dumpster when she was around six months old. She had been living with three other puppies that are assumed to be her siblings, but Chloe was the only pup still alive when she was found… Chloe has always had a fun and loving spirit since the day she was brought to the shelter. Chloe has been at the shelter for a year and a half now, and even though everyone will hate to see her go, it is time that the adorable pup finds the right home.

JASPER:

Jasper is a 4-month-old kitten that has been at the shelter for 3 months now. She was brought into a shelter by a woman who found her in her yard one day. Jasper had been attacked by an animal and was fighting for his life. The woman said she could not keep the cat, but thankfully she brought him to us! Jasper had so many internal injuries that it was believed that he would not make it. Luckily, this stubborn kitten fought through it and is now on his way to a full recovery.

LUCKY:

Lucky is our oldest dog in the shelter, going on five years this May. He was taken from an abusive home that tied him up outside all day without food or water. When the shelter got Lucky, he was 30 pounds underweight. A dog the size of Lucky should be around 55 pounds and he was right at 20.. Lucky is now 56 pounds. It is time Lucky lived with a family that loved him like we do.

BOOTS:

Boots is our youngest animal in the shelter. He is only 6 weeks old and was found on the side of Macon Highway in a box. He is 2 months old and has been living at the shelter since he was around a week old. He did not have any injuries, just a family that didn’t or couldn’t have him from what it seems. He is a fun and playful kitten who is looking for a family to love him back.

BELLA:

Bella is the newest member of the shelter. A car hit her when she was 3 months old. The accident broke 7 bones in her body. She was left on the side of the rode for a day until someone finally drove her to us. She is now 5 months old and is on her way to recovery.

All adoption information will be provided at the booth by the ASPCA at the event! Come by and adopt a sweet and loving pet that needs a good home!
